The Department of Health and Human Services may be able to help families with the cost of child care through the Child Care Subsidy Program. In order to qualify for assistance, the parent(s) must meet income guidelines and be doing one or more of the following:
- Working
- Involved with Employment First as part of the ADC program
- Going to school or trainings
- Going to medical or therapy visits for self or their child(ren)
- Ill or hurt (must be confirmed by a doctor)
For two parent families, both parents must be participating in one of the activities listed above at the same time.
